Bumgardner provided full architectural and interior design services for the complete renovation and updating of this two bedroom, two bathroom residence on the 21st floor of Seattle’s finest First Hill neighborhood condominium.
To create an open, flowing space for either entertaining or casual dining, the walls enclosing the tiny kitchen were removed, expanding the central kitchen to the living room, dining room and view. The main drain line for the building was carefully integrated into the steel and VG fir cabinetry to minimize blocking the view. Other significant materials include sound mitigating cork flooring, Venetian plaster, cosmos fossil stone and curry honed limestone.
